Cove, East Lothian
Here is the coastal erosion at Cove. This is a beautiful wee nook but I didn't take the time on my return from west to east to go right down to the harbour.
From here you see Fife across the sea, the tip of Torness Power Station to the left and out of view, Siccar Point to the right. Such rugged beauty.
I was so sad to leave Gourock today - I have really enjoyed the last two weeks and just being there to help at home.
I got home early afternoon and got sorted quite quickly. Got my loom put together after the drama of losing my toolbox - found eventually. Why are there so many screwdriver heads - so annoying when you use the wrong one and the thread starts to perish! Think I did ok.
Stung it up without event but got in a huge tangle trying to manhandle the actual warping - holding the yarn, putting in the paper which kept falling out, twisting the yarn, untwisting it....very dramatic! Finally managed it but not sure how successful it was. Into the 10th shed, I spotted a tangle - and yes....I have somehow caught some strands round the wheel. Annoying! May need to take drastic action!
