St John’s Church

This church was completed in 1819, a Catholic Church commissioned by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), who had originally had a chapel upstairs in a house next to the land where this church was eventually built.
It stood out in the afternoon sunshine as we passed by on our stroll.
