Bus Pass Walk

A wet start to the day, but mainly dry as we walked.  Route took us up the hillside with views over the park and river, then across the ford at Beckfoot and along the lane past the golf course (shown in the photo). Only one group of golfers seen today - perhaps some only play when it is sunny?!  Across the main road and behind the school to bring us back into town.  Refreshments at The Loft which was very quiet - we got there before the lunchtime rush.  Bus home, alighting in the village just as steady rain started. Another day in good company.
