Compost

A fellow allotmenteer followed up an offer of free compost seen on Facebook and today she introduced us to Joe who grows peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers in these commercial greenhouses.  When the crop is finished, they need to dispose of the growbags, hence the free compost.  Even better it is coir rather than peat based and great for adding organic matter to the plot.  I can see us visiting on a regular basis, but we may need to find a van to use.
