Let there be light.
Numerous locations visited today. First of all we went to Helmsley, had a few hours there, had a walk or two and got caught in a hail stone shower, fortunately Darren covered himself over me so the little balls of ice didn’t hurt me.
From Helmsley we drove to Hutton le Hole, a beautiful North Yorkshire village. We parked in the village but ended up walking out of it up on to the moors, it was a sunny afternoon so was very nice out on the moors and the views were great. We returned to the village and walked back to car. It was nearly 6 o’clock when we left Hutton but we still had time on our way back to York to stop at Byland abbey. This is an English heritage property, it’s free to go in at anytime and is where today’s photo comes from. A good day :-)
