Brumbies
It was great to spot my first "mob" or "band" of Brumbies, wild horses descended from escaped or lost horses, some going as far back as the early European settlers. They are part of Australia's heritage and the name comes from Baroomby, an Aboriginal word meaning wild. These were grazing off the Mary Valley Road. I couldn't get any closer and the brown one at the back had his eye on me the whole time!
