Taking shelter.

I was taking shelter from the rain , not drizzle but proper big drops, underneath the play equipment while the hardy Arthur played on oblivious.

We took shelter shortly after in a nearby cafe which has a decent selection of vegan food and had s cooked breakfast .

We had taken a trip to the small Roman village of Ribchester which grew up alongside the River Ribble . It has the ruins of a Roman bath house and also a museum of Roman artefacts. Arthur’s interest is in the sandpit and play area .

Dave is now home from another evening’s canvassing. I will help deliver the election leaflets but I’m no longer willing to knock on doors .
Time for a late tea of bread and soup .
Thursday tomorrow, how the weeks fly by .
