Nesting Swan in the Rushes

Celebrated first day out of self-isolation by going to Dishley Pool  for a short walk. We kept to the northwest side from where we could see the swan incubating her eggs on the other side. See the white blob.

Of course, somebody had to wade through the reeds towards the nest but as it seems to be built in the water, I don't think he managed to disturb the bird.

Basil was able to run about. It was a bit chilly and there were frequent showers. Rainbow at the end of the afternoon.

I did some shopping at Lidl, masked up.

Len is still positive so we're still avoiding people. Hopefully he will be better by the weekend.
