They're back - and a bit early, too!

Each year for the past four or five years we get a pair of mallards visiting our garden to nibble some birdseed and bread and whatever else they can scavenge. I'm not sure they are the same pair of ducks from year to year but we seem to get one pair that stays around for a week or two. They wander from garden to garden or hang around the soccer pitch and drink from a puddle. Not much greenery to munch on or hide behind, either.

Last year, they showed up on May 3rd.
