Normanton Church
We visited the amazing Burghley House and Gardens today - and what a joy they were. The gardens were fascinating and the rooms in the house were sumptuous with amazing art. We left when it started to rain but then the blue sky reappeared so we decided to make our visit to the half submerged and inaccessible Normanton Church on Rutland Water. The upper half of the church was saved when the rest of the area was flooded and it makes a very photogenic shot.
A good day until the driver lost the car keys. Fortunately he had a spare pair with him and we eventually found the lost key in a shirt pocket...
