I am going to aim to use the Nikon 5200 at least once a week.  I'm not sure if the meta data will come through as I've downloaded to the PC - but we'll see.  I bought it for J maybe 5 years ago? maybe more? and it's hardly been used. A connecting link will be arriving very soon so I can hopefully download from the memory card onto the ipad

I am wondering about buying a macro lens for flower and insect photography.  The camera shop is offering me a second hand Nikon fixed 60 2.8 lens for £370.  I'm tempted, but I'd welcome any thoughts anyone would be willing to offer as I do know my technical limitations.

The Red Cross clearance go into Mum's flat tomorrow.  Another landmark.  I came home from Mum's just over a week ago with literally thousands of photographs - it felt quite overwhelming and it's really hit home not only how much there is still to sort of Mum's - but also how much I need to declutter myself - that's going to keep me busy!
