Escapee

These serious overnight frosts have done their damage and many of my magnolia blooms are shrivelled and brown at the edges.

Some, however, seem to have been more fortunate and, in between our showers today, we had some sunshine and even a bit of blue sky.

This one is as cheery as ever.
