It was straight from the station to the pub to meet M for a quick one and the handover of another jar of green tomato chutney. He’s experimenting. Ginger, garlic and chilli or garlic and bay leaf. A taste test coming up.

Disconcertingly, the bar staff know my name. I don’t recall ever saying “Hi, I’m SF. A schooner of Reschs and a pinot griglio thanks”. M thinks they read the name on the credit card. Their own names are unknown.

The skateboards seem to do double duty.
