In Flower

I had a great time taking shots of flowering trees today (something you don't really see in Orkney), before embarking on the long journey home north. I got a few shots of a beautiful pink cherry tree, but decided to blip this for its delicate features and contrasting colours. Becoming more serious about photography has made me appreciate my surroundings more and see more. On numerous occasions I would have liked to stop the car today and take a photo, compositions and colours kept flooding into my vision, it was like an increased awareness for beauty, and I'm not on drugs. Lovely day.
