Here’s a nice little Queensland house. Low verandah and shutters to keep out the sun. Weatherboard construction so it breathes and cools down quickly. Tropical shrubs in the garden…

But the feature we only noticed today on our walk is the fretwork around the verandah roof has little palm trees in it!
