Defund Climate Chaos, Support Trees

A beautiful day for a climate protest and some climate art.

A coalition of organizations presented a rally and march to insist that Wall Street "defund climate chaos." Wall Street was notably absent from the event, though it was staged in front of Wells Fargo (see extras for more creativity and the beautiful spring day).

Some people feel they will go nuts doing nothing, even if they know that the people with power don't care about their street marches and signs and protest art. Making a public statement gives them a focus for their anxiety, something to do, somewhere to go with their rage and worry. They were spurred on by an organization that aims to save the forests. I'm glad to document it for them, since I also have nowhere to put all this deep foreboding.

This morning Cristina tested positive for Covid. She's fully vaccinated, so fingers crossed as she isolates in her sewing room. So far Seth and the children are negative. I will try to get my second booster tomorrow if I can.
