Grape Hyacinth ( Muscari racemosum )
Well, I should say probably M racemosum as it seems a number of Muscari and even one or two other genera are sold as Grape Hyacinth.
Our second day up in Edinburgh helping Kat with various jobs. The morning was taken up supervising her repairing her up and over garage door. She wanted to do it herself so "you can be a third hand if I need anything holding". She succeeded admirably.
Then off to a mini blip meet with Kaybee at the garden centre, where we spent a very pleasant two hours and learned much about the area's history.
The afternoon was chauffering to various places to buy things which would have been difficult/impossible to take home on public transport.
The Grape Hyacinth is a bit of an emergency blip taken in Kat's garden in the rain.
