City Centre
This morning, I had an appointment at my mother’s bank. Even after two years of Covid-19, there’s still an astonishing amount of bureaucracy that can’t be done online or on the phone.
I had not been in the city centre for months, and thought I could enjoy the occasion and go shopping for the first time this year. But (just two days after all Covid prevention measures were scrapped) only a few people were still wearing masks, and it just didn’t feel good to walk around in the shops, seeing all those naked faces all of a sudden.
Even though the shops weren’t too crowded, I decided to not take any risks, and went home.
