When it’s Windy or Wet we Walk in The Woods

There was very little wind today, but it has been drizzly rain all day.
The woods look different in the rain, of course. The colours deepen, with the bark becoming darker brown, and the grass and fresh green growth becoming lush.
I saw the first sign of Primroses in the wood today. The daffodils are still flowering, but the Butterbur are struggling due to getting a bit disturbed by fallen trees and branches and the vehicles that removed them.
We were well sheltered in the wood, and emerged just slightly wet.
