Grape hyacinth

I have a large tub which is planted with a lot of old bulbs turned out of pots many years ago.
It is neglected behind a privet bush, but each spring it comes into flower with grape hyacinths, and a mix of daffodils and tulips.
I have tried growing the hyacinths in other parts of the garden, but they just seem to disappear.
So these make a nice shot for Tiny Tuesday, and once the bulbs have finished flowering it will go back behind the bush until next year.
The privet had really got too big and so that was pruned back harshly a couple of weeks ago. Looks very bare at the moment but will soon sprout out again. ( I hope!) The birds aren’t too happy as they like to roost in it, especially the sparrows.

Haven’t done much today. The house is in such turmoil. Hopefully the decorator will finish tomorrow. Then Monday carpets down, and maybe the bed delivered next week.
Haven’t felt like going out as it is such a grey day, and the wind is so cold.
Apart from ironing have spent the day reading.
Not got any enthusiasm for anything at the moment.
