Anchored

Clipper "Hoge Wier" anchored near Muiden.
On board there was a wedding going on. Because it was very nice weather, the ceremony was on deck. This was the view for the bride and groom. In the distance you can see the medieval castle, the Muiderslot.

Lots of ropes on the ship. Every rope has a specific purpose. Even after more than 100 years it is still very effective. Not many changes on the rigging, perhaps except for some modern materials. The handling remains the same.
