To Amsterdam!

We got up far too early to catch a cab to St Pancras. Just before Christmas I pledged to myself that I would go on the Eurostar this year and today was the day. We took a direct train to Amsterdam (see extras) and it was a joy to travel again! We stopped off at an old favourite café on the way to our apartment for a delicious cup of chai. The apartment is lovely on a beautiful street and within half an hour I thought how wonderful it would be to live here for a year…
