Creeper

A grey drizzly day. Time to return home from Holly on the hill.

I thought I would struggle for a blip today. But this tree creeper alighted on the young oak tree in front of us, so I quickly grabbed my camera. It is taken through glass, and the camera struggled to focus so it’s not very sharp , but I’m fine with it. Tree creepers are the mousiest of birds, going unnoticed as they flit from trunk to branch to trunk.

A phone call or two with the bereavement service, and lots more to do tomorrow.
