Things I Miss

Fish and Chips.
I have spent five years searching for them but simple fish and chips is one of those things which one does not get here in Finland, EXCEPT for one single cafe which I have discovered and at which I ate today. No takeaway mind you and no vinegar.
Another thing which one never ever sees is the bookmakers premises. They don't exist. Neither, as far as I can see, does horse racing. Neither of which worries me at all but now, fish and chips, that's a serious problem.
Very very difficult to get decent fish too. Lake fish yes and farmed salmon too but, mackerel, plaice, turbot, whiting, all those lovely sea fish we had in Ireland.... nah! divil a bit.
