Short Drumstick

Much of the day was the erection of a garden gate to close off the wilder (deliberate) part of the garden.  It contains a pond and with four grandsons tearing around the place, I felt the need to manage access a little better.  Another gate to go and they'll have to pause before going in.  A short 'fence' around the pond will also help reduce the risk.
I seem to be a full-time gardener at the moment.  Not that I'm complaining.  The drumstick primula is bursting at the moment though it is quite close to the ground.  I'm hoping for a primula growth spurt.
