Soft wool…

Today I received a request from the ZON-groep (the care and education group for special children in a regular primary school where I volunteer). For a new child, there should be a cloth that fits on the wheelchair tray, with decorations of different textures to feel. This child has very limited vision, and therefore needs to be challenged in this way. Maybe I could make something for him?

At home I immediately dived into my patches and wool scraps. I will definitely use this super soft wool, just like a piece of crinkly plastic, which is also in baby books. And the fabric of an exfoliating glove, flannel and macrame rope will probably come in handy too. Now try to make a nice design with it...
