Robin Hoods Bay

Went for a ride out and ended up at Robin Hoods Bay, It must be well over 20 yrs since I've been. We parked at the top and walked down to the beach.

Back at the top we had a cup of tea at a café and sat outside in the rain!! But the view was lovely across the bay to Ravenscar in the background.

A drive back over the North York Moors using the back roads was very dramatic as the sky darkened - I love the drama and romance of the moors, the hidden villages and the history of the stone crosses plus the steam from the trains as they travel up and down the valley floor.
