DAY TWO
Slept so well - but the mornings are so dark, being nearer the equator. We had room service breakfast because we needed a slow start. Another day in Cadiz, and most passengers are off into the city or on longer day trips.
We were determined not to eat all day until dinner, but the buffet lunch could not be resisted. JR then decided to walk into the cathedral instead of the gym. The town is so close to the pier, I was almost tempted myself, but decided to relax and get my butler along to help me get the wifi sorted out. It’s been problematic.
We have met SO many people who are seasoned SilverSeas cruisers and won’t go with anybody else. And we completely see why - the service, the facilities, the food and especially the staff are exemplary.
We were so impressed with last night’s meal, we went there again tonight. Wonderful service. The young Balinese waiter plied us with Pommery champagne and greeted us with ‘Kia Ora’ when he heard JR’s Kiwi accent. Though we piked out on going to the sixties show tonight, and stayed away from the jazz bar… we have an early start tomorrow for a trip inland from Malaga.
Archie News: Elizabeth took him out today and they had a lovely time. He’s very happy at his holiday home.
