Stazione di Ambientamento della Cicogna Bianca
In 2001 the Adda Sud Park, with environmental characteristics consistent with the ecological needs of the White Stork, decided to participate in the repopulation program by opening the Ambient Station (extra photo) with the aim of preventing the decline of the Italian breeding population, increasing the number of pairs and expanding the distribution range of the species.
It is an incredible place, there are at least a dozen couples! And to think it's only a 10-minute drive, and we didn't find out until a couple of weeks ago through a local photographer my mom follows on Facebook.
Of course, the nest in Brembio is more 'natural' (here), but it is now not very visible due to the branches.
