On the way home

I must have driven past Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe at least a hundred times over the past few decades. Today I travelled as a tourist and stopped in the convenient and empty lay-by to get a blip. I should have done this on my way to Oban this morning when the light was better and when there was still some blue in the sky. Late in the afternoon the rain had started and it was distinctly chilly.
A great day meeting up for a long and leisurely lunch with former work colleagues at Poppies just outside Oban. I do miss the gossip, non evaluative always, of course, or is that a contradiction…
