Me and Jess went out early for a walk, came home and spotted a rabbit in the garden. The previous head gardener eradicated them from our plot about 20 years ago but we’ve noticed rabbits slowly creeping back around the area. We also have hares, much more destructive but very lovely to see walking past the big window in the early mornings. Cannon spent the morning finishing the tattie plot rotavating whilst S and I had several disagreements about the warmth/practicality of her outfit choice. The shop is only open for a few hours on Sundays so we nipped into the village to get some milk and see a few people. We spent the rest of the afternoon in the polytunnel, S with her shop, kitchen and house, Cannon and I sowing sweet peas, more dahlia tubers and all the other odd bulbs we bought recently. Veg sowing tomorrow.
