Back to winter

Full winter kit. Just above freezing. Bit of a shock!
Nonetheless, thoroughly enjoyable particularly with not too much of a headwind.  There's a dash of snow left on the hill in the horizon which gives a little indicator of the air temperature up here.

I had two close encounters with buzzards - one flew off inches from my left shoulder before I'd even spotted it.  I also had a close encounter with a bird in a tree.  It sent a good luck message which it dropped from a great height onto my left shoulder before I headed up Malham.  Could have been worse; could have been from a buzzard.

It's not often I turn a day of colour and blue skies into mono but I just liked this one.
