Unwanted

I  know, but although these small tulips looked really good on the grass verge, their beauty would somehow not have been so great had there not been a lowly weed to set it off.  And apart from their rather invasive habits, and their really deep root, I rather like the yellow flower.

And in the Extra, a travelogue that Mrs B found for me in the local library (the phone box).  Who could have imagined that the A303 would make an entertaining subject for a book?

I've read the Foreword and Introduction, but I'll continue with Robin Down's entertaining Golf travelogue (if I may be permitted to describe it so :-)), before getting stuck into a book about a road, one that is frequently a car park, to boot.
