Timber!!

A bright sunny morning but the air remains cold. We had a walk around More Hall Reservoir which is full. A tree has recently been blown down into the reservoir, that will presumably be cleared away when the water levels drop later in the year.
I dropped the UPP folio to Peter on the way. He has Covid, not too seriously but a reminder of how many are infected. We went to the nursery this afternoon for compost and a few seeds and plants, where I was the only one wearing a mask. Am I being overly cynical to think that our public health strategy now is wishful thinking and crossing our fingers?
