New shoots on our red apple tree

Our son-in-law visited this morning as last night I could not make the television work properly. I was not pressing the right button!

Although very cold I walked around the orchard as I thought I could see, from the kitchen window, new growth from our heavily pruned trees. They are all showing new growth, even the one that it was thought might die.

Today’s picture shows some new growth on our red apple tree; this one is a young tree so was not subjected any pruning.

I watched the boat race; well done Cambridge ladies, not such a good race for the men.

Noon Today, eight degrees Celsius; still cold, very frosty first thing, but dry.
