Amputated

How intensely irritating to have managed to chop the wing tip off. It´s really quite gutting as I think it is an otherwise quite perfect shot. Aaaaaargh. I got others with whole birds....but this was still better, even with only 3/4 of a wing.
The weather here seems to be getting gradually worse....yes....WORSE!!!
It has been a kiddo weekend. Wee B has sqeezed a total of 4 visits to or from friends including 2 sleepovers. 2 of the 4 were unplanned...how does a 6 year old manage to have such a full social calender!!!
The wind is howling, the rain is pouring so i am curled up on my sofa in front of the fire....there are some perks to Winter! :-)
