Fish Need Water

Mr M wanted to see the results of the river bend project to allay erosion at Jackson Field. Parts are still extremely muddy. Redwing blackbirds and bits of greenery popping out portend the arrival of Spring. Fishermen reported catching steelhead trout on this stretch of the river. We watched a blue heron fish from the bank. Beavers have been very busy in several spots. In the woods I found a wrapper for chewing tobacco from India.
