Ode To A Saturday Road Trip

Driving through the heart of the valley, scattered cloud over the Coast Range. Good music on the radio: Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Beatles, Blind Faith, Patti Smith, Steppenwolf. Drumming on the steering wheel. Osprey, eagles, geese overhead. Crossing the Willamette by ferry, with my favorite road companion of all these years. We have many miles to go.
