A catch up day

Today was spent mainly inside, recuperating. My partner went on a football outing with some blokes and I did next to nothing. I caught up on emails, finally caught up on Blip - thank you for your patience - but got no further on fixing internal internet problems. I topped this frenzy of activity with a nap! Decadence.

I did make it out to post a letter and found this sign at the end of our street, placed before the rock and roll half marathon on Sunday. I liked the way the surface of the sign itself looks uneven and how the word surface is reflected in the pillar box.
