Corbie Knowe

Walked along this beach at Lunan Bay late this afternoon with the dogs and was fascinated by the wee hutting settlement of Corbie Knowe ( perhaps meaning a pirate’s or wreckers’ look out ) .

As Lesley Riddoch has observed Scotland would be the better for more of these huts which are common place in Scandinavia, , providing a better balance in lives and bridging the gap between town and country.
