Adventures in Yorkshire

Today we started off at Bedale and had a nice toasted tea cake and coffee. We then headed off to Thirsk and walked by the river with the dogs. Then we just drove a while and landed up at Byland abbey. The main photo is the abbey, extras are the church at Thirsk, the church at Newby Wyske and me and the dogs by the bridge in Thirsk. We also saw the white horse carved into the hillside near the abbey and had lunch at a pub next to the abbey. A day full of exploring :-)
