Fallen Petal

Thankfully there was no further snow and today has been sunny with blue sky. However it has been very cold.  The cold weather and snow affected the camellia flowers and most of them have now fallen off the bush. I found this petal on the door mat when I cam home this afternoon.

It was a very busy morning as we both helped with coffee and cake. This meant we were both on our feet from before 9 am until midday. We had lunch in one of our local cafés before coming home to put our feet up.  Our backs are suffering as are my legs.  Nothing a good night's sleep won't cure I am sure.
