First of all..sorry to anyone who felt offended by my little april fool's day prank yesterday..I just couldn't resist trying and didn't mean to be mean! Actually the idea is old, from a practical zoology exam at university, ages ago where the professors always used to put one fake specimen among the 20 or so specimens to examine and describe during the exam. One year, with great care and exquisite craftmanship, they glued wings to a spider. It was nasty, but we knew that one of the specimens could be fake and that knowledge actually stimulated our critical thinking!
I hope you can forgive me with this sweet orange tip butterfly who was brave enough to face the cold morning, we have got snow in the mountains, something we haven't seen much this year!
