MRS. HCB'S SILLY SATURDAY GANG HELPERS

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We know we were on Blip yesterday, but as this is the first Saturday in April, thought you wouldn’t mind seeing us again as we do this especially today in memory of dear Admirer, who started all this.  We think she would love to see us two days running and this would make her giggle!

We heard Mrs. HCB say that after she had been to Waitrose - and she was out of the house again at 6.45 this morning, she would be doing some baking ready for when she visits some friends on Monday.  We think she is “off her trolley” - but what do we know?  If Mrs. HCB decides she is going to do something, she does it.

Anyway, we thought we would help her by getting out all the ingredients but first of all, we decided to make ourselves special little hats - BUT - Mrs. HCB was not amused when she got home - she said that those “little hats” or cup cake cases, had cost a lot of money, and now that we had messed about with them, she wouldn’t be able to use them.  Ah well, we won’t make that mistake again - but we thought they looked rather “fetching”!

You can see there are lots of different things to go in the cakes, and as the lady Mrs. HCB is going to visit on Monday doesn’t have time to make cakes, we’re sure she and her husband will enjoy them.  There was talk of Lemon Drizzle cakes and Chocolate Chip cakes, so we will be sure to stick around so that we can “lick the bowl” because that is the BEST part of cake making - licking out the bowl afterwards!  Of course, we may need to have a bath or shower, because that cake mixture gets everywhere and it is terrible trying to get it out of our fur!

We must go because Mrs. HCB is anxious to get on.  We do hope you have a lovely day whatever you are doing - the sun is shining, but Mrs. HCB said it was very frosty at 6.45 this morning, not that we know, because we were all fast asleep.
