Friday: Sugar Fix

This may just look like a bucket tied to a tree.  Technically, it is, but it’s so much more - it’s someone tapping their tree for maple syrup.  How much more Canadian can you get?  This is the ideal time of year for it - when temperatures waver between freezing and thawing.

We’ve been quite abstemious since we’ve been here but we did pick up a few Ontario beers tonight courtesy of a gift card that my office gave me when we left Vancouver.  So far, without a shadow of a doubt, BC beers win hands down.
