Waiting For You

We were last at the Usher Hall, oooh, just over 2 years ago, pre-lockdown, since then we've been to a few gigs in smaller venues. Tonight it was Future Islands, whom we last saw at the Usher Hall in 2018. Described as synth-pop, their music is generally upbeat, but in their shows frontman Sam takes things to another level and the audience love it, he just puts absolutely everything into it. I read that someone asked about him dancing like noone is watching and he responded by saying he dances KNOWING people are watching. Initially you laugh, then you realise he is owning it, and yeah, respect man! Maybe one day I could be this brave :-)
