A day of travelling

After a 45 minute drive this was the view we had from the ferry port of Craignure at 6.30am. Although beautiful, it was a chilly -4 degrees C. I have left N and Bertie at home (they are both quite happy about that) while I go off on a two-week jaunt with friends C and T. After sailing to Oban, we drove across Scotland in beautiful sunshine to Aberdeen, stopping on the way to eat our picnic and charge the electric car. We eventually took off from Aberdeen at 6.55pm (extra) and headed across the North Sea to Norway. I am now sitting in my hotel room in Bergen where we are staying for one night before heading off on the next stage of our adventure.
