Spot my Dad!

Had a great weekend up visiting my parents, lots of blipping which was good fun. Dad blipped me yesterday here and then made fun of me so I thought I would tell you all a little about him ;-)

This morning Dad and I went up Ben Cruachan to take some pictures. In case you didn't know, Ben Cruachan is my Dad's mountain! ;-) Dad worked at Cruachan power station for 40 years. Part of his job involved being out on the mountain, his favourite part of his job. He used to work very hard and was known to occasionally fall asleep on the mountain. ;-) He also met some very famous people while being on the mountain, for example the Tellytubbies who did one of their shows from Ben Cruachan!

When he retired a couple of years ago he refused to return his keys for the gates on the mountain and probably never will. I was most relieved as we drove up to the dam today. I did climb a bit of the mountain (in my wellies!) to take this picture. Please note the sun WAS shining - therefore sunglasses were necessary - this comment will make sense to some of you!

Anyway Dad knows Cruachan like the back of his hand and can spot deer, birds etc a mile away. We spotted a buzzard, a peregrine falcon and deer today. Can you spot my wee Dad?!
