b's conference was amazing; he was great! i really enjoy listening to all the other papers as well. heard a great piece on bioart: about DNA self portraits and reflections. and other on transcultural transformation via international texts. i really enjoyed the intellectual discussion that was quiet removed from my normal discussions about medicine, disease process, etc.

we had dinner and drinks with everyone and it was great to hang out.

we ended our night with O'Brien and Mel having a beer and hanging out in their backyard. low key is the way to wind down.

sunday will be catch up, study, clean, etc as the week begins again....
