Red squirrel

We were having a late breakfast after yesterday's truly superb wedding and this wonderful red squirrel decided to have his breakfast from the bird table outside the window at the same time. Not the best quality shot as it had to be taken through the glass. It was also raining! (but it didn't rain yesterday for the wedding and the sun came out)
It was so exciting to see one so close up I took quite a few shots. This close up clearly shows his/her spring moult. In the summer they are red but in the winter their coat thickens and goes quite brown but keeping the creamy white under belly.
